On December 1st 2023, I took delivery of my KSB 429 in Trinidad. I live in the US Virgin Islands which is 600 miles north of Trinidad. This was the eight Boat Kenny Scott has built for my charter business in U.S.V.I. It is also the longest vessel I have ever owned. KSB 429 looks and feels massive! It handled the 600 mile journey without any discomfort in six to eight foot seas. The design and looks are impressive. I’ve been stopped by many envious boaters. The vessel rides smooth, very rigid and dry. Powered by three 300 hp Suzukis the fuel mileage is 1.5 mpg with 8 people and 200 gallons of fuel. For a 40’ vessel these numbers are unheard of. During the build Mr. Scott called me very often to make sure I was happy with the layout and location of all installations.
